Both the film and its soundtrack have won awards, including the prestigious Golden Aries from the Russian Guild of Film critics.
Puli is a 2010 Telugu action film written and directed by S. J. Suryaah, starring Pawan Kalyan in the lead role, with Nikeesha Patel, Manoj Bajpai, Charan Raj, Nassar, Jyothi Krishna, Bhrahmaji, Ali and Girish Karnad in supporting roles and Shriya Saran appearing in an item number.[2] The film features a soundtrack by A. R. Rahman and cinematography by Binod Pradhan. It was produced by Navodaya Appachan and Singanamala Ramesh on a 35 crore budget and was distributed Geetha Arts. The film was released on September 10. The film was originally titled Komaram Puli but was renamed as Puli on the second day of release, following objections by Komaram Sony Rao, grandson of the tribal legend Komaram Bheem, from whose name the title of the movie was taken.[3][
A man and his friends come up with an intricate and original plan to destroy two big weapons manufacturers. Toshiya Fujita brings the five film Stray Cat Rock series to a highly enjoyable end. Like his previous instalment, Wild Jumbo, Beat â71 is an easy going youth drama that does not follow Yasuharu Hasebeâs wild gang film path. Instead Fujita deals with social issues. The film follows a hippie community lead by Yoshitaro (Yoshio Harada). They decide to leave their trailer in Shinjuku and travel to countryside by bicycle to save their friend Furiko (Meiko Kaji) who has been falsely accused for murder. The real killer â although it was mainly self defense â is Furikoâs boyfried Takaaki (Takeo Chii) who is being controlled by his politician father. Takaaki would rather live free as a hippie, but his father is forcing him to become a businessman.

The film stars Mohanlal who plays the protagonist, who is told he is the saviour destined to rescue the Rimpoche of a Nepalese Buddhist monastery from practitioners of black magic. The score and soundtrack were composed by A. R. Rahman. The film is an adaptation of the movie The Golden Child and has borrowed subplots from Bloodsport and The Blind Fury. It was mostly shot at Palakkad in Kerala and Nepal. A sequel titled Yodha 2 has been planned, which hypes A.R. Rahman's second venture in the Malayalam film industry.
