Alltså precis som vanligt, den icke normativa kreativitetens triumf i Schlegels anda, när Sveriges roligaste man slår till igen.

Brødrene Dal og Vikingsverdets forbannelse er en norsk film i sjangeren komedie og familiefilm som hadde premiere 10. september 2010 i Oslo. Filmen har syv års aldersgrense. Dette er det femte, og aller siste eventyret i sagaen om Brødrene Dal, og er blant annet basert på opptak av en teaterforestilling på Tusenfryd fra 1997, noe som gjør det mulig for avdøde Trond Kirkvaag å opptre i filmen. Hovedrollen bæres hovedsakelig av Knut Lystad og Lars Mjøen som brødrene Gaus og Roms Dal. Brødrene Dal, ved to av dem - brødrene Gaus og Roms, snekrer på den nye tidsmaskinen de har kjøpt på TV-shop, men brått er det noe som galt og de forsvinner tusen år tilbake i tid. Brødrene og maskinen dukker opp igjen i vikingtiden, og havner på det samme sted hvor fornøyelsesparken Tusenfryd utenfor Oslo ligger i dag. De havner midt i mellom en strid mellom to grupperinger, Badejarlene og Granbarkebirkebeinerne, som kjemper om et magisk sverd ved navn Tyrfing.

Og som desværre bliver i rollen til efter tæppefald!

Sylvia Grøn lægger sine sparepenge i hans rejsende teater, men det går dårligt for teatret. Billedet af Herman Sander falmer også efterhånden som tiden går. Sylvias gamle elev, Eva Kristoffersen, søger tilflugt i teatertruppen. Hun er hemmeligt forelsket i komponisten Henrik Brandt. Lige inden nøglen må drejes om for teatergruppen får Sylvia en ide. Henrik Brandt har skrevet et teaterstykke og det vil hun sætte op.

It also proves how futile it is to try to escape oneself.
Salgschef Lund øjner muligheden for at blive underdirektør i det babyudstyrsfirma, han arbejder i. Uheldigvis har han hverken kone eller baby. Det er ellers kvalifikationer, som både chefen og en konkurrerende kollega finder helt nødvendige. Lund lader derfor som om, han har været gift længe. Den lille nødløgn får imidlertid uoverskuelige konsekvenser, da chefen inviterer Lund og frue til middag. Lund må på jagt efter en kone til låns og så griber forviklingerne om sig i et rasende tempo.
