Luther then proceeds to "bite the heads off" of many hapless folk until the tense ending. This movie is most notable for it's bare dialog, whole stretches pass without a sound. Most of the audio is composed of Luther clucking insanely like a chicken.

This is a pretty fascinating take on the werewolf myths Naschy had been building for over a decade in his native Spain. Apparently the Waldemar flicks were big in Japan and a company offered to co-produce this movie if he set it in Japan. The end result is really unlike any werewolf movie. Shot in Techniscope with a 1:2.35 aspect ratio, an old process used in many 1960's films such as Dario Argento's "The Cat O' Nine Tails", GRAVEYARD ALIVE promises to invigorate the horror genre stylistically as well as with its audacious and thought-provoking content.
