Mankatha is a racy and adrenaline-rushing story of a Maharashtra police officer Vinayak Mahadevan (Ajith) who is suspended for helping a smuggler to escape from police encounter. Trouble starts when two of the team betrays them.

Not much plot but we have giant spider riding ninjas, tree jumping cat ninja, some good old shaolin chop socky, amazing wire work, a baddie who mainly laughs and disappears, sped up antics, Naked female ninja, underground burrowing ninja and some hilarious dubbing to top it off. All dues go to Robert Tai and the other Taiwanese ninja directors because they make the best ninja films!

The rest of the story is about the gang's camaraderie with Radha in sylvan spots and the discovery of truth by Radha.

Bandits of the Badlands is kept on the move by director Tommy Carr, who manages to convey the illusion that Sunset Carson has genuine acting ability.

On reaching there, she is told that her father was stabbed to death by a bike-jumper named Jimmy (Mammootty). In fact Jimmy, his foster father Krishnan (Innocent), aide Sisupalan (Suraj Venjarammood) and a gang of street children were all invited by Philipose to join his circus group. Meanwhile the ghost (Mammootty, in his other role) appears, becomes friendly with the kids and takes a more stylish shape of Jimmy. Thanks to the ghost, Ancy realizes that Jimmy was innocent in the whole issue. Now the battle between the good and evil.

Cars! Film! Cars on film! Film involving cars! You get the idea. It’s basically a DVD involving those two things. Gasp as we find the perfect drift car for a gritty, Bourne Identity-style chase! Cheer as we stage a race for all those unsung heroes of the movie industry! Whoop as we find the car that makes the perfect dramatic exhaust note to dub onto an action sequence! Make some other sort of noise we haven’t thought of yet as we re-attempt the classic Man With The Golden Gun barrel roll, having frankly made a total hash of it when we first tried it on telly! All this plus a vast fleet of sexy supercars and a man with a jet pack racing a Skoda. Top Gear At The Movies. It’s better than an actual movie. Probably. Actually, it depends on which movie we’re talking about. Truth is, you’d be better judging this on a case-by-case basis.
