MTV Unplugged is a 2000 Grammy Award-winning live MTV Unplugged acoustic performance by Colombian born musician Shakira released in 2000 as an album and in 2002 as a DVD. Recorded in August, 1999 in New York City, New York, it is rated as one of her best-ever live performances and paved the way for her successful English cross-over recording Laundry Service (2001). It was a critically acclaimed by American critics. in 2005 album was re-issued to promote the sales of Oral Fixation Vol. 2. To date, the album has sold over 6 million copies.
MTV Unplugged is a 1993 live album by 10,000 Maniacs. The music was recorded for the MTV Unplugged series and it was also the last album by the band featuring Natalie Merchant as vocalist. In addition to the songs released on this album, four takes of "How You've Grown" were recorded, second takes of "Because the Night" and "Gold Rush Brides", a brief take of "Puff the Magic Dragon" and three other songs which featured singer David Byrne as a guest: "Let The Mystery Be" (two takes, one of which was released as a B-Side to "Few and Far Between" and on Campfire Songs: The Popular, Obscure and Unknown Recordings), "Jolene", and "Dallas". Acoustica is a 2001 unplugged album by German hard rock band Scorpions. Acoustica was recorded during three concerts, at Convento do Beato, Lisbon, Portugal, in February 2001.[1] It was a most unusual set for the band, as Klaus Meine comments on the DVD. The band was supported by backing vocalists, a percussionist, an extra guitarist and Christian Kolonovits (who had worked with the band as conductor and arranger on the Moment of Glory album) on keyboards. He also collaborated on rearranging the songs for the acoustic set. The band performed four new songs: "Life Is Too Short", "Back To You", "I Wanted To Cry" and "When Love Kills Love", which was released as single.[2] All the new songs were featured on the DVD, while "Back To You" was not included on the CD. Acoustica also contains cover versions of songs such as The Cars' "Drive", Kansas' "Dust In The Wind" and the Queen hit "Love Of My Life".

Jealousies within the Mob undercut the plan's smooth operation, and soon the Mob has Toivo to deal with as well.
