International Security Affairs agent Jon is on a dangerous mission to escort a criminal scientist to another country. On the plane he forms a bond with Dr. Kan, who promises to look into possible treatments for his condition. However, when they arrive, Yeung tries to kidnap the doctor and when Jon intervenes, he's also taken hostage. The two soon realize they're brothers, and decide to work together in order to keep the criminals behind the kidnappings from reinfecting the world of a disease long thought cured.

Food plays an important role in the story and the tagline of the film is Oru Dosa Undakkiya Katha ("The story born out of a Dosa").[2]
Abu and Aisumma are an aging Muslim couple. Their aspiration is to go for Hajj and they make many sacrifices to achieve this aim. Now in their late 70s, they decide that they will go for Hajj that year. Abu, being a true Muslim, wants to go for Hajj only according to all diktats of Islam. Pattanapravesham movie is the sequel of Nadodikkattu. Just six months after the events of the prequel, C.I.D. Ramdas (Mohanlal) and C.I.D. Pattana Pravesham is a well-scripted mix of light comedy and poignant drama, just like its prequel.

Jai (Amitabh Bachchan) is an expert gambler, and has been so as long as he can remember, and has never lost a game. It revolves around a person who arrives in Trivandrum city who takes a ride from place to place in an Autorickshaw. His name or whereabouts are not revealed, and he just travels from place to place in the auto rickshaw. The questions about his whereabouts form the rest of the story.
