The film was distributed by Paramount Pictures and first released in theaters in the United States on November 20, 1998.Based on the popular 1990s animated Nickelodeon series, Rugrats, this film introduced Tommy's baby brother Dil Pickles, who was named after Didi Pickles' cousin, and appeared on the original series the next year. While the original parodied slasher flicks like Scream, Keenen Ivory Wayans's sequel to Scary Movie takes comedic aim at haunted house movies. A group of students visit a mansion called "Hell House," and murderous high jinks ensue.
Harold Hall, a young man with little or no acting ability, desperately wants to be in the movies. The Bioman Movie is the only standout in this otherwise lackluster collection. The Bioman Movie is the longest of the Sentai Movies at 45 Minutes and it really does benefit from this. It is a true adventure story with deadly villains, a somewhat interesting story and very cool action sequences. The brutal fight between Yellow Four (Tanaka Sumiko) and members of the Ferra Cat Gang strangely looks out-of-place in this kidâs movie and could have belonged to Toeiâs more adult â70âs Exploitation Films like âOnna Hissatsu Kenâ (AKA Sister Streetfighter).
Star Cinema made two movies in junction to the Home Along da Riles TV-series. The first movie (1993) goes deeper into Kevin's history revealing he was an all-star chef at a hotel but was fired after an explosion in the hotel's kitchen, which ended up working as a messenger in a placement agency thereafter. The family was also implicated from trying to expose corrupt practices of a corrupt politician to the Presidential Anti-Crime Task Force, which nearly cost their lives.
