Science researcher Hyun-Chul (Lee Beom-Soo) demonstrates with co-workers against the company president, who stole an important semiconductor chip and is attempting to flee to the United States. Meanwhile, the company president makes his escape from the protesters in an ambulance. During his escape, the executive cuts a wound in his arm and implants the chip there. While, Hyun-Chul and co-worker Han Jin-Soo (Jeong In-Gi) head for home, Han Jin-Soo is hit by a speeding car. Hyun-Chul thinks it isn't an accident. No relation to the 1950 Frank Capra film of the same name, the 1943 Technicolor musical Riding High is a by-the-numbers vehicle for Dorothy Lamour and Dick Powell. Lamour stars as Ann Castle, a former burlesque queen who heads westward to claim her father's silver mine. Powell plays mining engineer Steve Baird, who like Ann has a vested interest in the worked-out mine. With the help of genial counterfeiter Mortimer J. Slocum (Victor Moore), Steve and Ann are able to peddle mining stock, thus saving her from bankruptcy. The stockholders are in a lynching mood when it appears that they've been flim-flammed, but a last minute "miracle" saves the day. Featured in the cast are Paramount stalwarts Cass Daley and Gil Lamb, the former doing her quasi-Martha Raye act and the latter swallowing his harmonica for the millionth time. Production values are excellent and the songs are exuberantly performed; it's only in its hackneyed plot that Riding High slows to a clip-clop.
Jarring Jack Jackson, the greatest football player in Ridgefield College history, is disappointed that his only son Junior is an uncoordinated, allergy-ridden bookworm. He uses his athletic reputation and standing as #1 alumni contributor to pressure the coach to take Junior on the team. I believe the idea behind this flick was to show beautiful women getting naked in ludicrous situations, and it achieved this effect. There is plenty of nudity, as well as fun bonus features like casting calls where the women improvise with the director and actors (also getting naked). There is a good spirit to this thing, but one gets the sense that some of the tongue that was supposed to go in the cheek got cut off and left on the cutting-room floor, leaving the movie looking more stupid than anything. There is no sex in this, it is just a whole lot of fun nudity. So, if beautiful women finding any excuse to take off their clothes is your idea of a good time, wrapped in some cheesy space effects and a few good gags, this could be the thing for you. The brunette doing the striptease for the ridiculous, pizza-eating Elvis was the highlight for me. Everyone I've talked to who has seen this seems to have their own favorite goofy moment

The Sharma brothers consist of former boxer, Brijmohan; Jagmohan, an Electrical Engineer; and Manmohan, a Mechanic. The brothers operate a garage under the name of 'Mohan Brothers'. Then Renu's marriage is arranged with Prakashchand, the brother of Raja Hardayal Singh. When Manmohan meets Prakashchand he recognizes him as a killer. Before he could expose him, Renu, Manmohan, and then subsequently Renu's dad, Kishinchand, are abducted. The motive for this abduction is to force Renu to marry Prakashchand so that Raja can inherit Kishinchand's wealth...

A group of friends go on a vacation in Phuket after their high school graduation. This consists of four short films by different directors. Rosselini's 'Chastity' ('Illibatezza') deals with an attractive air hostess who receives the unwelcome attentions of a middle aged American. Godard's 'New World' ('Il Nuovo Mondo') illustrates a post-apocalypse world the same as the pre-apocalyptic one but for an enigmatic change in attitude in most people, including the central character's girlfriend. In Pasolini's 'Curd Cheese' ('La Ricotta'), a lavish film about the life of Jesus Christ is being made in a poor area. The impoverished people subject themselves to various indignities in the name of moviemaking in order to win a little food. The central character is hoisted up on a cross for filming, and dies there. Finally comes Gregoretti's 'Free Range Chicken' ('Il Pollo Ruspante') in which a family of the materialist culture inadvertantly illustrate the cynical, metallic voiced doctrine of a top sales theorist.
