Dette er det femte, og aller siste eventyret i sagaen om Brødrene Dal, og er blant annet basert på opptak av en teaterforestilling på Tusenfryd fra 1997, noe som gjør det mulig for avdøde Trond Kirkvaag å opptre i filmen.
